At the end of each Athletics Season, we hold a presentation day, with awards determined using points accumulated throughout our competition nights. These awards are designed to recognise not only performance, but improvement, participation, commitment and effort throughout the Season.Points are awarded as follows:

If a competition night is abandoned, athletes will receive their season-best results for that round. Season-best results may also be awarded when an athlete is unable to attend because they are representing the Centre at an LAVic State or Regional event.
Award Eligibility
To be eligible for Centre awards, athletes must:
- Participate in at least 50% of competition nights
- Participate in at least 50% of the weekly events
- Be registered as a Competitive Member (points accumulate from the date registration fees are paid, points do not accrue on trial athlete sessions)
Track & Field Medals
Gold, Silver & Bronze medals are awarded to the top 3 point scorers in each age group, for both boys and girls. Separate awards are presented for Track and Field, based on the total points accumulated throughout the season.
Star Awards
A Star Award trophy is presented to one boy and one girl in each age group. These awards are selected by the Committee and recognise athletes who demonstrate a positive attitude, strong attendance, effort and persistence throughout the season.
Personal Bests
When an athlete competes an event for the first time, it sets their benchmark. Any time they beat their best in any event, a personal best is recorded. Medals are awarded for accumulating these personal bests over the Season, as follows:

LAVic 7 & 10 Year Participation Certificates
Athletes who have participated in Little Athletics for 7 years or 10 years may be eligible to receive a participation certificate direct from Little Athletics Victoria.
Please note: place points & personal best points are not accrued at Regional or State events, they only accrue at a Centre level.
