Medals and trophies are presented to athletes at the end of the season determined by several methods using points awarded on each competition night.

1st Place                   = 6 Points                                  Personal Best          = 3 Points

2nd Place                  = 5 Points                                  Centre Record          = 5 Points

3rd Place                   = 4 Points                                  Equal Record           = 4 Points

4th Place                   = 3 Points                                

5th Place                   = 2 Point                                   Attendance              = 1 point

Season best results are awarded for any abandoned competition night, or when athletes are unable to attend because they are traveling to an LAVic Championship event.

TRACK AND FIELD MEDALS

Medals are awarded to the first 3 place getters in each age group (U6-U17), boys and girls, for both track and field.  These awards are based on points accumulated over the season.

STAR AWARDS

Trophies are awarded to a boy and girl in each age group.  These awards are decided by Committee Members based on the athlete’s attendance, endeavor and persistence.

LAVIC 7 and 10 YEAR PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE

Athletes who compete for 7 and 10 years are eligible for this certificate from Little Athletics Victoria.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for any of the above awards, athletes must have:

• Participated in at least 50% of competition nights
• Participated in at least 50% of weekly events
• Must be registered and registration fees fully paid

Points are accumulated from the date when registration fees are paid.
